The purpose of the Website is:

  • To present and tell the story of the BODET Group, its identity, its brands and its values;
  • To raise the profile of the BODET Group as an international leader in time management;
  • To enable users to access the various websites of the legal entities of the BODET Group;
  • To attract talent and present jobs and career opportunities in the BODET Group;
  • To allow people to find out all the latest news about the BODET Group.

Article 2: Responsibility of users of the Website

As a user of the Website, you acknowledge that you have the necessary technical resources to be able to access and use the Website.

Users acknowledge that they have checked that their computer configuration is virus-free and in perfect working order. The user is required to have read this Legal Notice and undertakes to comply with it.

Users use the Website on the basis of their sole responsibility. The BODET Group may not be held liable for direct or indirect damage such as, in particular, material damage, loss of data or programs or financial damage which results from the Website or websites that are linked to it.

Article 3: Security

The Website is protected by physical, administrative and technical measures that have been provided to maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of the data which is collected by the BODET Group.

The BODET Group kindly reminds users of the Website, however, that it is impossible to guarantee the absolute security of the transmitting of data over the internet. Consequently, the BODET Group is not able to guarantee the security of data transmitted over the Internet.

For their part, when using the Website, users undertake not to do anything which would be likely to cause functional computer failures or failures of any kind affecting the operation of the Website or any servers or services accessible via the Website.

In particular, s/he undertakes to make available, within the Website itself, only information, data, documents and files that are reliable and not likely to affect the operation of the Website or of any server or service accessible via the Website.

When using the Website or any servers or services accessible via the Website, the user undertakes:

The Website provides a clear and relevant presentation of the BODET Group and its activities, as well as straightforward access to the most sought-after information. Consequently, the BODET Group may not be held liable for any inaccuracies or omissions concerning one or more items of information that are posted on the Website.

The information published on the Website (text, graphics, photos, etc.) is of a purely general and informative nature and is provided for information purposes only. Despite all vigilance, the Website does not constitute a contractual document and cannot be used as the basis for legal action.

All the brands in the BODET Group have their own websites which are managed independently by the subsidiaries.

The BODET Group pursues a policy of continuous development of its products and services, and therefore reserves the right to modify, without prior notice or public notification, the information relating thereto, without incurring any liability.

The information posted on the Website corresponds to the most recent updates to the various pages of the Website when they went online.

The BODET Group is not able to guarantee the reliability or exhaustiveness of the information made available to users on the Website.

Article 5: Intellectual Property

5.1 Copyright

The Website constitutes a work of which the BODET Group is the author within the meaning of Articles L 111.1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

The Website was designed and created by BODET SA.

The texts, photographs, animations, drawings, sounds and other works are the exclusive property of the BODET Group.

Any reproduction, whether direct or indirect, temporary or permanent, by any means whatsoever, in whole or in part, as well as any representation, use or modification, even partial, of the Website is prohibited. The above constitutes a counterfeiting offence, which is punishable by three years’ imprisonment and a fine of €300,000 (Article L 716-10 of the French Intellectual Property Code).

5.2 Trademark rights

Wordmarks or semi-figurative trademarks have been registered by the BODET Group or its subsidiaries and are their exclusive property.

The reproduction, use, imitation, affixing, removal or modification of such trademarks without the prior authorisation of the BODET Group or their owners constitutes a counterfeiting offence, which is punishable by three years’ imprisonment and a fine of €300,000 (Article L 716-10 of the French Intellectual Property Code).

Article 6: Hyperlinks and referencing

The Website may contain hypertext links to other websites which are completely separate from the Website. The BODET Group does not in any way assume or guarantee that the information contained in such hypertext links or in any websites to which they are linked is accurate, complete or true.

Consequently, any access to another website linked to the Website is the sole responsibility of the user.

Any etablishing of a hypertext link to the Website and any referencing thereof are prohibited without the express written authorisation of the BODET Group.

Article 7: Links to social networks

The Website contains links to social networks.

To protect the personal data of the user, the BODET Group does not use social plug-ins. Instead, HTML links are integrated into the Website, making it easier to share to the platforms of the various social networks. The integration of links prevents any direct connection with the servers of the various social networks when the user opens a page on the Website. When the user clicks on one of the buttons, a window opens in the browser directing the user to the website of the service provider concerned, where (once the user has logged in) the “Like” or “Share” button can be used. 

For additional information on the purpose and scope of data processing and the subsequent use of personal data by the service provider and its website, as well as the rights and possible settings to protect privacy, the user should refer to the information on data protection provided by the respective service providers.

Article 8: Protection of personal data

The BODET Group collects and processes personal data in accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6th January 1978, as amended.
Users of the Website have the right to access and rectify information concerning them, which they may exercise by contacting dpo@bodet.com    
Users of the Website may also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of their personal data. In terms of the nature of the data and the risks of processing, the BODET Group takes all the necessary precautions to ensure the security of the data and, in particular, to prevent its alteration or unauthorised access to it by third parties.

Article 9: Amendments to the legal information of the Website

The BODET Group reserves the right to amend or correct this Legal Notice at any time and without prior notice, in particular in the event of a change in the legislation currently in force so as to bring it into line with such legislation.
